There are a lot of new faces around. That's not really a surprise -- time moves on, different people come and go, it's always been like that in the City. He's even experienced coming back more than once and finding the place moved on without him, friends and enemies alike disappearing back to their worlds.

Ten years, though, is a long goddamn piece of time no matter what way you want to spin it. It makes Logan antsy, having people at his back he doesn't know. People who are kind of familiar, who he can't tell if he can trust yet. And he's got to work with them because he's damned if he's going to let them do this shit on their own.

He casts a thoughtful eye at Jane. "This ain't my first rodeo, darlin'," he mutters. "You don't need to worry about me."
