News travels fast, and the Porter machine kicking back to life is big news. For the most part, slipping incoming Metas from the facility has been a matter of subtlety. Whoever's banging around in the building now, however... Subtlety is apparently not their strength.
Kurt's been hovering around the edges, running transport once their infiltrators guide arrivals from immediate harm within the confines of the building. Since subtlety of appearance is something he can't pull off, that's supposed to be the whole plan for him; no need to invite poor fortune via acting as an obvious target. Once the gunfire and shouts over the radio, though, a change of plans is well in order.
The sound of his teleportation is muffled among gunfire and explosions. He appears before the government combatants in half-seconds, dismantling their efforts of pursuit with weapon thievery and non-vital strikes. The layout of the chase isn't the easiest to navigate, especially now that the dust has been kicked up. Getting in isn't the difficult part. Finding their potential new compatriot and getting out again is a whole other matter.
And that's not even considering how ill-prepared he is to see a familiar face, someone quite dear and long-absent. When he rounds a corner at a sprint and spots Wolverine, he freezes, which is a bad look when every moment is dire. He recovers quickly, not from his astonishment but from his momentary clumsiness of movement. He lets out a ragged breath of a laugh as he starts forward again, and it grows into something more genuinely joyous as he rushes forward. Maybe it's a touch mad, given the current environment, but he can't do much else to process the sight.
There's footsteps approaching, the hurried thud of boots, and Kurt draws his sword as he arrives at Wolverine's side. They may have a fight ahead of them still.

"Did you arrive alone?"
