It's weird to feel both relieved and dismayed at once -- relieved that he's not native to this mad place, dismayed he's apart from his family, relieved to hear of the family...and that he's in front of her right now. Weird aside, it's selfish to be so grateful to have him back for even a moment, but she'd come to rely on him so much for his wit and wisdom!

She shakes her head, frowning. "It was nearly the same for me, but...but I was able to slip by at first. It's just been non-stop since! Since right now, at least..."
