Public Internet: MetaMemes.com
A Not So Niche Community for All Your Meta Shitposting Needs
On the internet there are many websites devoted to memes and shitposts. Some are dedicated to one meme in particular, while others are welcome to any and every meme you can imagine. One relatively popular site is MetaMemes.com.
MetaMemes.com, and its neglectful staff and poorly-tuned content deletion algorithm are here to serve the general community and their need to make irreverent image macros that leave some people feeling uncomfortable while others roll on the floor laughing (rofl, for short!). Best of all, the only thing you need to sign up is an email address! And it doesn't even need to be a real email address to count! Their security isn't very good though, so you should absolutely avoid reusing passwords and using an email address you need unclogged.
Naturally on a site with such a polarized subject you find a lot of political memes, some of which are violently pro or anti government depending on the sub-community at play. And naturally, it takes a little time for those anti-government memes to be reported to authorities because, well, gosh darn it, the staff just can't afford to moderate all the content personally, let alone catch all of this stuff and send reports to to the government in a timely manner! That said, they do save IP addresses, so you should avoid posting anything the government won't like from your home or school, or even worse a rebel base with not-so-great internet security!
Now that you have the information you need, go out and post to your heart's content!
(Please place the MetaMemes.com username in the subject line if your character's handle is different than the journal name!)

[ Haru might, perhaps, feel a little bad about underplaying what's going on, if she didn't feel so spiteful that she ended up caught up in this mess to begin with. She tells herself on the regular that if the resistance had just registered like everyone else that people like her wouldn't have been stuck fighting, and that because of this her anger at them is justified, even if what the government (and her, by virtue of the fact she's taken no small amount of resistance lives herself) has been doing in response is utterly reprehensible.
That said, it's not like she could argue that the government has done anything wrong, either, or even admit to it, because she is at that moment using a government phone on government wifi to reply. What a good way to end up reprogrammed.
(Besides, she's seen 'evidence' that the Resistance is just as bad.) ]

Who's going to shed a tear for government workers? They're passively enabling the atrocities of this regime by making sure they can keep operating, even if they're "non-combatants". None of us were combatants until they started dragging us away, killing us, or trying to brainwash us to do all that for them. If you don't approve of the fascists, it's not a great idea to work for them. Getting caught in the crossfire becomes a workplace hazard.
Don't forget: the people who are the most dangerous, the one with the most power, never need to pick up a gun to cause massive amounts of violence. That's what they pay the police for.

"If you don't agree with your employer, don't work for them. Because you totally have the ability to get a job that pays as well as you need at the drop of a hat and you can find someone who shares your opinions. Clearly you have total control over when your contractor sends you to work at a government office, too. Also, even though I have literally made it a point of my life's work to call the government dangerous and fascist, it is absolutely safe for anyone who is asked to work for the government to say 'no'."
The most dangerous people may be the ones who never need to pick up a gun, but the majority of people who never pick up a gun are not the most dangerous people. That's why you target attacks on individuals, not on places.
As for non-combatants, some of us weren't either until some of you decided it was too much to be asked to register the fact you can blow up buildings without outside power, so we had to take up arms to defend ourselves even though we wanted nothing to do with any of this. And this was back even before you guys decided to blow up entire buildings.
I always find the argument that this is over being brainwashed and killed, because every time I hear it from a resistance member or someone sympathetic they always act like the resistance isn't doing the very things they accuse the government of doing.
[ There's some stuff she wants to say that she can't - she'd be dragged off to be conditioned if she even hinted that a problem with the resistance was that (as she'd been lead to believe) they were doing everything the government was, just with fewer resources, because that would be admitting the government did anything at all - and even stuff she did say that she didn't agree with, but mostly she's bitter. She doesn't want to work for the government, but it's because of assholes like the resistance that she got caught up in a sting operation before she even could register let alone find something else to do for work. If they'd all at least pretended to comply for a while, then maybe she wouldn't be stuck in yet another situation of 'fight or die' right after she left the last one. ]

fine. enjoy.

if u want more people to see it u should post it directly to the site. own ur work. says a throwaway account
[ To say she has no idea how what she said before was particularly stupid would be an understatement, but she accepts that it is no doubt likely the case so she doesn't question it. Honestly, the less intelligent she can make her throwaways look, the less likely it is that anyone will trail it back to her and chuck her into conditioning for daring to use Gabriel's image in a shitpost, especially an intentionally shitty shitpost that looks like it got on the wrong side of a bedazzling party. ]

if ii DID do exactly that ie post a bunch of memes making fun of notable 'celebrities.'
give me some suggestions on who 2 make fun of if ii REELY wanted to piss people off.

right now apollo looks to be a hot topic and people r polarised on the issue so making a meme with an obvs stance would be a good way to piss people off. but its way obvious. if u want something more subtle go with space. poster child for metas working with the government thanks to good pub? check. someone who is liked a lot by kids thanks to being marketable? u got an easy way to piss parents off. generally liked even by the pro resistance crowd even tho hes one of the biggest threats on the field? bingo. play ur cards right and u can have tons of ppl screaming at you in your inbox while watching debates play out on ur post
[ She liked Luther. He was like a big brother to her, really. But in the end she was the sort who knew ways to start a little chaos, and boy did she like to see it in action when it wasn't going to hurt anyone for once. Luther had a thick skin about this sort of thing anyway, so it wasn't like someone saying mean things on the internet was going to do much more than annoy him. ]
