[OPEN] A Pale Sign Revealed

WHO: Darth Jadus and WHOEVER
WHERE: A creepy hole in the ground or anonymous messages
WHEN: Time has no meaning in the creepy hole
WHAT: Jadus exists. Somebody should probably correct this.
WARNINGS: Body horror, mind control, Jadus' inability to be fcking normal

The structure of flesh and metal had begun to merge with the captured government agent. Jadus had refined the technique in his time as a government interrogator: They had provided him ample subjects upon which to work. The Force could compel the truth from the weak, sense truth and lies from the unwary, but the trained and powerful could resist. There was no such defense against the crawling, alien neurons fusing with the agent's brain.

The passcodes contained within the agent's mind would be useless within hours: They would be changed. But the memories of the secure facility's layout and all its weaknesses--structural, electrical, and human--these were what he needed.

He would pass this information to his unwitting agents among the anti-meta terrorists. To them, he played the part of a sympathetic, powerful native, providing them the materials they needed to kill metas and those who protected them in the government. His place as their mysterious benefactor went unchallenged--he had delivered them the death of Darth Jadus, after all.

He anonymously fed more information to the Resistance cells, on both the government and the terrorists. The anti-meta extremists would eventually outlive their usefulness. When he withdrew their permission to exist, they would be ended.

And his few, loyal agents within the government and the resistance remained under his control. He rarely contacted them, preferring instead to let them follow their instincts. Let them succeed or fail on their own merits.

His communication with all was sparse, anonymous, and carefully secured. But it was still a vulnerability. Those he captured for interrogation, even more so. Eventually, someone might find him, trace him back to his hidden lair, deep within a natural cave far from the city. From here, he had orchestrated terror and death. He was alone, save for the guards he had brainwashed personally, and the slowly dissolving minds of his captured subjects.

Even as they became his creations, they still could not comprehend his designs. But it terrified them, and so his duty to them was fulfilled.

[[ooc: Want to find this asshole before he kills again? Want to contact him in his capacity as an anonymous "ally"? Want to be one of his agents? The poor bugger being mind-hecked? Take your pick! Or, if you want something entirely different, let me know at [plurk.com profile] PaleAntiquarian or CellarSpider#9984! Also, here's your musical accompaniment for today.]]
